By downloading or using MyEasyExpense ("the app"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. What the app does
MyEasyExpense helps you track personal spending by automatically detecting transactions from your bank and payment-app alerts (SMS and notifications) and by letting you add expenses manually. It is a personal finance-tracking tool for your own informational use.
2. Not financial advice
The app provides expense tracking and summaries for your convenience. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, or accounting advice. Figures shown are derived automatically and may be incomplete or inaccurate; you are responsible for verifying your own financial records.
3. Accuracy of automatic detection
Automatic transaction detection relies on parsing messages from banks and payment apps, whose formats vary and change. The app may occasionally miss a transaction, misread an amount, or create a duplicate. You should review your entries. We are not liable for decisions made based on automatically detected data.
4. Your responsibilities
- Use the app only for your own lawful, personal purposes.
- Keep your device secure; the app stores your data on your device.
- Grant permissions (SMS, notifications) at your discretion; the app's automatic features depend on them.
5. Data & privacy
Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy. In short, your financial data stays on your device; we only receive scrubbed crash diagnostics.
6. No warranty
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the app.
8. Changes
We may update the app and these Terms over time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
